Human body is made up of 2/3 rd of water, so water is known as a critical component for all living organisms. Without a single drop of water a human can survive maximum 72 hours. Our body needs water in sufficient amount as it controls digestion and also maintains body temperature. The benefits of water in our body are endless but you need to drink clean and clear water.

Water contains many natural minerals as calcium, potassium, and magnesium. These minerals help in the growth of the body as well as make our skin healthy and strengthen our bones and teeth. After rainfall water passes through the earth where minerals are added to it naturally.

But it is not recommended to drink direct water as due to pollution many toxic substances get added to water which is harmful to our body. So people normally use filter or water purifiers to remove all unwanted materials from the water, to make it drinkable.

Need for Body-Water

As I have stated above 60% of our body is made up of water so we all know necessities of water. Drinking sufficient amount of water every day is very important as it maintains many vital functions in the human body. Below are some roles of water in our body.

  • Water helps kidneys to flush all impurities and wastes from our body.
  • It regulates and keeps body temperature balanced.
  • It bolsters our body tissues and organs.
  • Provides more lubricant to our joints.
  • Water transfers all types of nutrients that body needs and Oxygen to all parts of the body and cells.
  • It helps in keeping our body tissues moist.
  • Water nourishes our skin and skin tone.
  • It prevents from constipation.
  • Water dissolves all types of nutrients and minerals so that the body can absorb it.

If you don’t drink the recommended quantity of water daily then you have to suffer a lot. Check some complications that arise due to lack of water.

Selenium: It protects your cells from damage.

Importance of water in our life is huge. If there is no water there will be no life in this earth. There are many source of water but you need to drink pure water full of minerals daily.
